Hod's Message

          I am very pleased to welcome you all to Science & Humanities Department at departmental website of Mahavir Swami College of Polytechnic. Department of Sciences & Humanities offers Applied Sciences and Humanities Courses as prescribed by the curriculum of the BMEF in the 1st year of Polytechnic programme. Science & Humanities subjects are the foundation subjects for all the branches of engineering. So, there is a strong need to build a strong foundation for the prospective and promising Engineers.

             The Department of Science & Humanities was established in the year 2012. Our Department is backed by well-educated, talented and dedicated faculty members to fulfil their task. In addition, the faculty of Science and Humanities department is very curious towards their continuous learning and update to the technological changes. They participate in various career development programs like seminars, conferences, workshops and research paper presentations etc.

          The Department of Humanities and Science has grown in strength over the years in terms of infrastructure including laboratories and faculty. The department caters to the needs of the first year students and has English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry under its canopy. The department maintains its own library besides a central library of the college. The department imparts quality education to its students by means of demonstration and available teaching aids.

Engineering is a science of measurement. Physics is the basic core subject in the field of engineering. Physics plays important role in almost all branches. The Physics Laboratory is designed to give students a background in experimental techniques. It makes students in accurate and precise in observation and measurements.

Two Days Workshop on - Innovative Interview techanics (IIT)

Science & Humanities Department organized Two Days workshop on “Innovative Interview Techniques (IIT)” dated on 11th and 12th June, 2015. Ms. Rima Patel and Ms. Snehal Vaghela are the Coordinator and co-cordinator of this workshop. Our main purpose was  gave them such type of developing interview skills.  In this worksop, Mr. D. D. Purohit and Mr. Ravi Jadav are the speakers from J.H. Polytechnic. Also, Mr. Amit Thankor, Mr. Varun Dhingra and Mr. Amish Jain are the speakers of BMEF trust.
Project Expo 2017

National science day is celebrated on every year on 28 February. National science day is celebrated as one of the main science festivals in India every year during which students of the schools and colleges demonstrate various science projects and national and state science institutions demonstrate their latest researches. Bhagwan Mahavir Education Foundation celebrated National Science Day with the innovative thought "Project Expo 2017".

Donate Cloths to needy Children of Nimkheda Village

BMEF family Donate Cloths to needy Children of Nimkheda Village with collabration Revoluation Foundation. As a Social Acitivity, BMEF family always tries to help needy People by Cloths, foods, money etc.In Our College NSS Committee Member Ms. Rima Patel (Co-ordinator), Ms. Snehal Vaghela (Co-ordinator), Ms. Monali Panchal, Mr. Suresh Sapariya and Mr. Babu Patel initiate to help needy Children with the help of Mahavir Swami College of Polytechnic Family.
Women's Day celebration 2016

International Women's Day (IWD) is celebrated on March 8 every year. In Our College Ms. Rima Patel, Ms. Snehal Vaghela, Ms. Vaidehi Dsai and Ms. Anjali Desai organized a special programme to commemorate the 21st International Women's Day on 8th March 2016. Our main purpose to celebrated this event is only to spread message of empower themselves.

WDC - Mahendi Compitition 2017

2017-07-06

The Women Development Cell BMEF had organized a “Mehendi Competition” on 6th July, 2017 in the seminar hall BMCET-207C from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. WDC staff members along with the volunteers coordinated with the participants for the smooth conduct of the programme. The guest of honour Dr. Harshita Jain expressed her views on the WDC which were very inspiring. In this compitition, Ms. Bari Monika Students of Civil branch (2nd year) in our college got the First prize.
