Hod's Message

     Considering the present era and the challenging future, it demands strong basic technical knowledge and continuous growth of Automobile Engineering students on all facets. The behavioural changes found in the today’s youngsters give rise to the need of continuous assistance and counselling for their professional and personal growth. Also many students are out of home for the very first time and at the tender age of 17-19 years, seek personal attention and moral support.

     Enthusiastic, experienced and committed faculty members, dedicated exclusively to Automobile Engineering would prove beneficial to improve the quality and productivity of every student. The emphasis is given on various activities such as Teaching-Learning, Expert lectures, Site visits, Technical events, Cultural and Sports events and Soft Skills.

Automobile Transmission System Lab

Transmission is a machine in a power transmission system, which provides controlled application of the power.The most common use is in motor vehicles, where the transmission adapts the output of the Internal combustion engine to the drive wheels. Such engines need to operate at a relatively high rotational speed, which is inappropriate for starting, stopping, and slower travel. The transmission reduces the higher engine speed to the slower wheel speed, increasing torque in the process.


Automobile Electrical System Lab

Automobile Electrical System includes starting system, charging system, ignition system and lighting system and some accessories. The accessories  lighter horn and mobile charging system, etc.Functions generally provided by the electrical system of a conventional off-road vehicle is engine starting, Ignition, Lighting,Sensing, display, control, Ventilation and Accessory may include windscreen wiping, entertainment systems, radio, etc


Automobile Engine System Lab

An engine or motor is a machine designed to convert one form of energy into mechanical energy.Heat engines burn a fuel to create heat, which is then used to do work. Electric motors convert electrical energy into mechanical motion.
